The AFEP is uniquely designed to enrich the participant with focus and self-control, perspective, conscious discipline (through seven conscious skills, composure, encouragement, assertiveness, choices, empathy, positive intent and consequences). communication, making connections and critical thinking. ​

Each concept is introduced through projects, discussions, and reflective practices, allowing participants to explore its relevance in their personal, social, and community lives. The curriculum is designed to be flexible, allowing learners to progress at their own pace while building a toolkit for lifelong growth.

While each day starts with a platter of fruit for each participant, quiet time, reflection, assessment of vision and mission through a number of advanced techniques will prepare the participant for the rest of the day's learning.

AFEP Michi Compass
​Participant progress is measured on the AFEP proprietary Michi Compass. Training in using the tool will be provided pursuant to registration into the program.
